Years ago I had the delightful opportunity to meet Erika Kapin at the Woodhull Alliance Summit for Sexual Freedom — a fantastic event for everyone interested in human rights for sex and gender minorities. Erika and I were both fairly broke so we shared a room with a couple of other folks who were attending the conference — fun! Now Erika’s years of work traveling around and photographing polyamorous folks in their natural habitats has come to fruition with the www.TheOpenPhotoProject.com and it is delightful to see her fantastic work. I strongly suggest you check out her photos and short film with the voices of the people in the photos talking about their lives. It is a deeply moving piece for anyone who has ever felt judged for being nonmonogamous or different in any way! Check it out 🙂
