Years ago I had the delightful opportunity to meet Erika Kapin at the Woodhull Alliance Summit for Sexual Freedom — a fantastic event for everyone interested in human rights for sex and gender minorities. Erika and I were both fairly broke so we shared a room with a couple of other folks who were attending the conference — fun! Now Erika’s years of work traveling around and photographing polyamorous folks in their natural habitats has come to fruition with the and it is delightful to see her fantastic work. I strongly suggest you check out her photos and short film with the voices of the people in the photos talking about their lives. It is a deeply moving piece for anyone who has ever felt judged for being nonmonogamous or different in any way! Check it out 🙂
