Dear Friend,

I wanted to send you one last reminder that the Effing Foundation is still accepting submissions for our grant program until 11:59pm US Eastern time on Wednesday, July 31. The Open Call for Submissions is ready for your projects and ideas!

Below you can find the links and resources I sent out in May when submissions opened. I’d like to highlight that new on the FAQ this year, we’ve clarified the tax implications of receiving a grant from us.

As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions about the grant process in general or questions specific to your work.

Thanks again for your time and interest in our grant program! – Kit

Unfortunately we can’t accept submissions from individuals, groups, or organizations located entirely outside of the United States. If you’re outside the US, please update your email settings so that we can alert you when international submissions are available.

The first step in our grant process is completing the Open Call for Submissions. This is an online survey where you tell us a bit about who you are and what you’d like to do. Submissions are due by 11:59pm US Eastern time on Wednesday, July 31.

For a lot more information about our grant process, including who can apply and how it works, visit our Grant Program Frequently Asked Questions (or you can listen to the FAQ on SoundCloud!). We even have a list of what’s different this year.

I also recommend you check out:

If the online form isn’t accessible to you, contact us and we can make arrangements for alternative submission methods.

If you have other questions that aren’t covered in the FAQ or are specific to you or your project, contact us and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Please help us spread the word! Send your friends / colleagues / favorite sex-positive artists & educators over to http://www.effing.org/grants — we want to know about everyone’s amazing projects!

Thank you so much for your interest in the Effing Foundation’s grant program. I can’t wait to hear all about your amazing work and ideas.

Best,
Kit
