My newest blog on Psychology Today explores the reasons that queer families must plan ahead for the deaths of loved ones or risk putting their relationships, assets, and custody of children or pets in jeopardy. Thank you to contributors Isabel Knight the Death Designer who specializes in LGBTQ+ families, and Diana Adams at the Chosen Family Law Center. The CFLC uses donations to provide legal assistance to low income diverse families, and they are hosting a fall fundraiser to support their efforts to protect queer families. More information here.
