Please join us at the Social Science Tavern for Dr. Katie Acosta’s talk on interracial lesbian step-parenting at 7:30 pm on Monday May 4 at Manuel’s Tavern in Atlanta. Dr. Acosta is an Assistant Professor in the Sociology Department at Georgia State University, and her research focuses on LGBTQ families. We will meet in the Eagle’s Nest room at 7pm to order food and chat, and Katie will begin speaking at 7:30. The Eagle’s Nest is at the back of the main dining room up the stairs, and is often overly air-conditioned so bring a sweater if you tend to be cold. Hope to see you there!
