I hope to see you there!!!!
CS, an academic coaching client, recently wrote this endorsement after consulting with me about selecting a graduate program.
Dr. Sheff provided me with tons of insight and information not readily accessible through usual grad help websites for applying for PhD positions. I highly recommend Dr. Sheff if you are feeling unsure how to move forward and you need up-to-date information based on professional knowledge and experience in order to choose the best options for your career.
I just returned to home Atlanta after the Endless Poly Summer at Abrams Creek Retreat Center and speaking to the Charlotte Poly Network. Taking a breather has allowed me to reflect on my tour so far. The Hygge Coworking space in Charlotte was lovely, a welcoming and comfortable space to speak on “Types of Consensual Non-Monogamy and When They Work.”
The Abrams Creek Retreat Campgrounds are gorgeous, with great woods and stream-side camping sites with ample room for a tent and a hammock. Abrams Creek has many wading pools perfect for lounging in the wonderfully cool water. The buildings are all right along the creek and do not have air conditioning, so the mold was a problem for me. I am allergic to mold and other people at the were not nearly as bothered as I was, but if you are sensitive to mold then consider bringing a tent when you visit Abrams Creek. The food was excellent, with many vegan choices and meats as well.
Endless Poly Summer was quite intimate and would be best for people who are interested in Tantra and hands-on practice of sacred sexuality exercises in group and at the Sensual Temple. In addition to an emphasis on sacred sex, Endless Poly Summer uses a New Culture framework with a focus on intensive emotional exercises and encounter-type group discussions modeled after Zegg Forums, though with a degree of controversy about how closely they mirror the original Zegg intentions. EPS would be best for people with experience in gestalt therapy, EST-like groups, or other extensive emotional exploration. If you are new to poly, uncomfortable with intense emotional interactions, or reluctant to explore sacred sexuality, then you might consider selecting a different event to attend.
I am thrilled to be presenting at Sex Down South again this year, and wanted to encourage you all to get your early bird tickets while they are still cheap! You can register here at http://sexdownsouth.com/registration/

I will be speaking on Seven Types of Consensual Non-Monogamy to the Charlotte Poly Network this coming Friday at 8pm at Hygge Coworking in Uptown Charlotte at 809 W Hill St, Suite C, Charlotte, NC 28208. For the record, North Carolina state legislators’ politics completely suck when it comes to transgender human rights. The poly community in Charlotte has been vocal on behalf of trans* human rights and I support them with my visit, not the haters in the state legislature.

This will be my first time at Endless Poly Summer, and I am thrilled to be presenting at the lovely Abrams Creek Retreat Center in the West Virginia Countryside. Not only do I get to lounge in their creek and do some forest bathing, I get to learn from amazing people like authors Patricia Johnson and Mark Michaels, Tantra practitioner and osteopath Harold Kornylak, and resident grassroots poly big wigs Sarah Taub and Michael Rios. I will be presenting “Untangling LGBTQIAKOP,” “Polyamorous Parenting,” and “What Kids REALLY Think of their Poly Families.”
